Serve With EELCorps

Why should you serve with EELCorps? 

The Environmental Education Leadership Corps (EELCorps) is an an AmeriCorps​ program where members serve with Site Partners across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The main goal of every EELCorps member is to help Kentucky learners build connections with the environmental world around them through environmental education.

The application for the 2025-2026 service term is now closed! 

The 2026-2027 service term application will open in late Spring. To receive the application to your inbox when it opens, please email your name and interest to Willa.bayne@ky.gov. 


Ready to spend a year of your life with The Environmental Education Leadership Corps? ​​

Applying to serve with EELCorps is simple! 

Step 1: Complete the EELCorps Applic​ation Google form!
Step 2: EELCorps Program Staff will schedule a 10 minute pre-screening call to determine eligibility and interest.
Step 3: If selected for an interview, an EELCorps Site Partner Supervisor will reach out via email to schedule a video conference or in-person interview. 
Step 4: ​Create a profile and register for a MyAmeriCorps Account.

​Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all position are filled. Priority given to applications submitted by July 31.
